We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Are you passionate about sales and building strong client relationships, with expertise in industrial, mechanical, and fire protection products? This position is for you!

Summary

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing a client portfolio within an assigned territory. The selected individual will focus on prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and establish relationships with new clients while maintaining strong connections with existing customers.
  • Participate in industry events and develop follow-up strategies for specific projects.
  • Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate products and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts, review results with management, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Plan and optimize travel and visits by region to maximize efficiency.
  • Attend trade shows and organize presentations (lunch & learn) for current and potential clients.
  • Assist internal sales representatives when needed and stay up-to-date on the company’s products.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in direct B2B sales, prospecting, and client retention, ideally in the construction, building mechanics, and fire protection sectors.
  • College diploma in sales/marketing, business administration, or mechanical engineering.
  • Business development skills and the ability to read plans (an asset).
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

  • Autonomy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Mathematical skills and the ability to understand technical product aspects.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability for daily travel and occasional out-of-province trips.

Contract Details

  • Workplace: Quebec City, QC
  • Employment type: Permanent, full-time
  • Salary: $81,500 – $83,000 per year
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
