Heavy-duty vehicle mechanic

Under the supervision of the Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the company’s equipment. More specifically, he/she will identify faults using diagnostic equipment and then ensure that the repaired equipment is in good working order.

RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Carry out accurate fault diagnosis using test equipment.▪ Repair defective tanker components.▪ Perform general mechanical maintenance tasks on trucks and tanks, such as changing tires, brakes, greasing, etc.▪ Carefully maintain tanker electrical and electronic systems.▪ Diagnose and repair defective parts or systems (electrical, electronic, etc.).▪ Guarantee proper operation of repaired systems.

Profile
  • Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics, diesel, diagnostics.
  • 0 to 10 years’ experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • Knowledge in tank mechanics (an asset).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage several tasks in parallel.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomous, organizational and team player.
