In-depth analysis of various project plans and specifications.Creation of estimating files, including quantity takeoff and cost evaluation for materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, etc.Preparation and review of files to ensure compliance, then timely filing.Communication with customers, professionals, contractors, superintendents, project managers, etc.Constant monitoring of tender projects and identification of those of potential interest to the company.Printing of plans and specifications as required.Estimation of site guidelines as needed during project execution.Production of drawings on Autocad.ProfilePossess a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in building mechanics, mechanical engineering or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of the field, including plumbing, heating, natural gas, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (an asset).Mastery of safety standards and building codes.Minimum of five years’ experience in the field.Familiarity with Autocad software would be an asset.
