Our client specializing in industrial mechanics is looking for a Site Foreman (industrial mechanics) who is open to travel to different job sites across Quebec (Malartic, Fermont, James Bay, Nunavut etc)You will report to the Site Superintendent and your main role will be:

• Supervise work crews, making sure to meet deadlines and according to agreements established with customers;
• Plan and make sure to have the right materials on site in order to properly execute projects;
• Make sure that the delivery of materials corresponds to the planned order;
• Check and approve timesheets for employees in your charge by the customer;
• Ensure that suppliers and subcontractors comply with contract requirements;
• Enforce our customer’s policies and procedures on the job site
• Train and mentor new employees

Profile

• Have a DEP in industrial mechanics maintenance and construction
• 2+ years'experience as a foreman on an industrial mechanics worksite
• Hold an ASP construction card
• Good command of French and a functional level of English 
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety 
• Be a good communicator
• Good ability to manage problems and emergencies
• Good team player'team player and excellent leadership skills

Contractual information

• Permanent full-time position
• Various hourly rates may apply depending on the site or if the person is in administrative work mode
