Construction Project Manager

Our client, an ambitious construction company, is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to strengthen its team. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a stimulating and friendly environment.

Main responsibilities
  • Collaborate on estimates and price requests for calls for tender
  • Manage the opening and closing of contracts according to established procedures
  • Plan and manage projects (resources, budgets, equipment, schedules)
  • Negotiate and award contracts for'purchase, supply and subcontracting contracts
  • Ensure the follow-up of completed quantities and progressive invoicing
  • Supervise the conformity of work with plans, plans, specifications and standards
  • Coordinate and supervise field crews
  • Perform worksite supervision
  • Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Travel to worksites 3 days a week
  • Attend worksite meetings with MTQ and other stakeholders
  • Commute to the travel to the Quebec City office once a week

      This position requires a high level of activity during the summer season, with a lighter workload in winter. One day of telecommuting per week is offered.

      • Engineering training or equivalent experience in construction
      •    
      • Member of the'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (an asset)
      •    
      • Valid driver’s license
      •   
      • Safety card for construction sites (ASP)
      •    
      • Mobility to work on job sites across the province
      •    
      • Leadership and excellent communication skills
      •   
      • Strong sense of planning and initiative
      •    
      • Commitment to health and safety on job sites
