Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their operations at their corporate head office in Etobicoke.
Job Summary
This position offers the opportunity to have a leadership role in HR. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of strategic human resources practices and processes within the business at the corporate level.
Key Job Responsibilities
· Partner and participate with the management team to implement change management and HR solutions in support of business strategies and initiatives
· Build and maintain strong employee relations with colleagues through a strong communication and collaboration initiatives.
· Develop, revise, implement and administer human resource programs, policies, practices and procedures that improve business performance
· Partner with management and area managers to create and implement employee development programs to grow the talent of the organization.
· Oversee recruitment processes from job posting to onboarding, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and company goals.
· Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the manufacturing environment seamlessly.
· Responsible for identifying, designing and implementing training and organizational development initiatives
· Ensures compliance with various legal requirements relating to employment law, health and safety, and insurance, as well as Policies and Procedures
· Coaching managers in employment related issues including human resource planning, performance management and discipline
· Support career development initiatives to promote employee growth and retention.
· Drive HR initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and business performance.
Position Requirements
· Undergraduate degree in human resources Management or relevant field
· CHRP Certified is an asset
· Proven experience as an HR manager in a industrial environment
· Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience
· Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with management and employees
· In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to keep key stakeholders informed, make presentations and facilitate training
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
