Your main responsibilities will be:
– Plan, supervise and carry out the design and installation of electrical systems (electrical distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm and other related systems);
– Determine the concepts used to carry out projects according to customer requests;
– Coordinate technical deliverables in the search for technical solutions;
– Conduct survey visits;
– Oversee the preparation of plans and specifications;
– Support technical staff (technicians, draftsmen and other engineers attached to projects);
– Verify and coordinate work in progress in collaboration with other parties (architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, etc.);
– Prepare budget estimates, as well as plans and specifications reports;
– Participate in site meetings;
– Participate in partial supervision of work;
– Any other job-related tasks.
ProfileThe ideal profile has the following characteristics:
– Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (specializing in building) or building engineering
– Must hold a license to practice as an engineer FULL-RIGHT with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
– Knowledge of standards required in Quebec
– 3-5 years of'experience in consulting engineering or equivalent
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Versatility, autonomy, ease of communication
– Leadership and excellent customer service skills
– Excellent knowledge of applicable standards and codes
– Fluency in spoken and written French – Asset – Fluency in English
– Valid driver’s license
