Real estate operations engineer

We are looking for a Property Operations Engineer for one of our customers in Rouyn.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, this person plays a key role as a technical expert, responsible for identifying problems, selecting suitable solutions, and supervising their implementation and follow-up. She also supervises the technicians involved in all building management operations. Her role includes the preparation, monitoring and management of budgets relating to the operation, maintenance and conservation of the building stock, with the aim of optimizing its use. In addition, she is responsible for managing various projects aimed at preserving, improving and developing real estate assets.

  • Managing and developing a real estate portfolio comprising 35 buildings located in the magnificent Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.
  • Supervising 6 operations technicians.
  • Operating office buildings with high security priority.
  • Managing buildings located in Canada's far north, requiring occasional travel to this territory.

Profile
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Have three (3) years of experience relevant to the duties of the position (building operations).
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and coordinate.
  • Special experience in project management and energy management, among other fields.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, codes and standards related to fields of activity.
