Our client, a food manufacturer located in the Montérégie region, is looking for an electrical technician for its night shift. Your responsibilities will be to program, maintain and improve equipment in order to avoid equipment problems.Your tasks:

• Identify and solve electrical and electronic problems;
• Program PLCs and software interfaces to improve or maintain equipment;
• Update and track electrical schematics, computer program lists;
• Update equipment drawings;
• Write various maintenance reports;
• Manage parts requests, communicate with the supply department and track orders to plan parts and service;procurement and track orders to plan repairs ;
• Maintain an inventory of equipment and spare parts ;
• Perform necessary calibrations on equipment ;
• Perform and track preventive maintenance activities on equipment ;
• Participate in training courses to keep up to date with new equipment, components and software.
