We are looking for a dynamic, positive, energetic and involved team player. The Supervisor will report directly to the Maintenance Manager for our customer.

Your daily challenges will include:

• Managing a team of'approximately 10 unionized employees from different trades
• Responsibility and accountability for your area’s results
• Management of maintenance activities for your area and ensuring that the work planned for your employees is properly executed
• Development of preventive maintenance plans based on equipment
• Implementation of projects approved by senior management and playing a leadership role in the management and success of these projects
• Collaboration with plant personnel (managers, supervisors and employees) on various ad hoc projects to improve current equipment and processes
• Active participation in plant'plant improvements
• Planning and monitoring of work carried out by contractors

Profile

What we’re looking for in our future supervisor :

• Experience in maintenance and in managing a team
• Ability to ensure effective organization (initiative, be orderly and have rigor)
• Assured leadership, autonomy, good communicator, strong ability to work in a team
• Strong skills with computer tools
• Functional knowledge of'english
• Knowledge of HACCP standards an asset
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing would be an asset
