Maintenance Planner

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a constant commitment and in-depth understanding of all service operations in your areas of responsibility as well as specific customer needs.
  • Ensuring close communication and regular interaction with the Service Manager and other coordinators.
  • Carefully reviewing new agreements, verifying customer assets, associated services and labor requirements for each agreement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Assessment and Agreement Renewal (BAAR) team.
  • Plan and supervise inspectors, providing support for their daily tasks.
  • Evaluate the profitability of agreements and report to management any need for further review when scope changes or price revisions are required.
  • Organize outsourced services and equipment, including rentals.
  • Develop and plan service requests and work schedules, then assign them to field technicians.
  • Create purchase order requests in Siebel and ensure that requests are correctly transmitted to SAP without error.
  • Review labor costs, expenses and equipment rental charges.
  • Check billing details for completed jobs before proceeding with the invoicing process.
  • Participate in the contract renewal process.
  • Review customer reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and contribute to the application of all safety rules and procedures, including those defined by the customer.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
ProfileFORMATION:

Bachelor's degree preferred, however, equivalent previous experience and training will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 7 years'industrial and/or business shipping experience is required. Customer orientation is a must. Ability to manage priorities and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced mastery of computer systems and strong computer skills.
