Career Opportunity: Financial Analyst in Data Center Construction

Our client, specializing in Data Center construction, is looking for a Financial Analyst with expertise in construction companies. Here are the tasks that will be under your responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement;
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures;
• Analyze and justify closing accounts to identify discrepancies and correct them;
• Experience in bookkeeping for American companies (an asset);
• Prepare accounting files for external audits;
• Manage the GST/QST report;
• Onboard new employees (payroll setup, email, computer, collective benefits, etc.);
• Manage payroll (outsourced payroll) – CCQ (an asset) – USA (an asset);
• Manage collective benefits (RRSP and insurance);
• Supervise expense accounts and suppliers;
• Prepare electronic payments.

Profile:

• Functional English;
• 5 years of relevant experience;
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
• CPA candidate (available to mentor for an internship);
• Experience with Procor (a major asset), QBO;
• Intermediate Excel skills;
• Experience in the construction industry.
