Career Opportunity: Systems Integration Analyst

Our client based in Montreal is looking for a Systems Integration Analyst to join their IT team of around ten people. The integration analyst will play a vital role in ensuring that various enterprise systems interact smoothly. This position involves analyzing operational and technical needs, developing effective integration strategies, and writing functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities. They will understand existing systems, analyze data flows between them, and translate this information into clear directives for integration specialists. While technical knowledge, such as Python or SQL, is an asset, the primary focus is on analytical skills and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with integration specialists and project stakeholders to ensure smooth data transmission between systems.
  • Research, analyze, and define integration requirements based on operational needs, aiming to improve processes and optimize systems.
  • Map, document, and analyze data flows between core systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, WMS), ensuring data integrity and operational fluidity.
  • Facilitate and oversee testing and validation phases of integration solutions, collaborating with internal teams to ensure system accuracy and performance.
  • Document implemented solutions and regularly review existing processes to propose and implement improvements.
  • Stay updated on new trends and best practices in system integration, process optimization, and data flow management.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in integration analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role, ideally in the transportation or 3PL industry;
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex systems and processes;
  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities;
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications;
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams;
  • Experience with TMS and ERP systems is an asset;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, is required as our client operates in both languages for their clients’ needs.

  • Permanent full-time position – 40 hours per week – hybrid;
